When you break it down, life isn’t about the closed circle jerk of Internet opinion about bands, sports, movie quotes, and shallow politics.
It’s about being there when it matters, in person, even if you need to hop in your car and take what seems to be a ridiculously long day trip to do it. If someone pulled the plug on the whole “social networking” clusterfuck tomorrow, who would your real friends be and how far would you go for them? Just something to think about.
